NTC Series Overview

What separates the Head Rise NTC series pumps from competitors?

Our key differences include increased nozzle-loading capacity, higher horsepower, direct-coupling design, reduced lifetime maintenance, reduced inefficiency, and a smaller skid to cut down on excessive material costs and reduce the total footprint.

What are the reduced costs saved by the Head Rise NTC series?

Compared to competitor No Thrust Chamber models, Head Rise reduces overall costs — product and lifetime maintenance combined — by an average of 30–40%.

What is the performance range of the Head Rise NTC series?

The NTC series is capable of producing a flow rate of 700 - 7000 BPD (with additional capacity available with the Load Carrier), using a 100 HP electric motor, and operating at 30 - 60 Hz.

Key Features

— NTC Design

No Thrust Chamber

The thrust chamber is traditionally one of the largest cost drivers in surface pumping systems. Our NTC (No Thrust Chamber) designs eliminate it entirely — allowing engine bearings to absorb the axial load instead. The result: no recurring replacement costs, no maintenance-related production shutdowns, and the ability to service components while the unit stays running.

Reduced Component Count

Cost Savings

Easy Maintenance

— Structural

Skid Design

Traditional OEM skids are sized to accommodate the widest range of engine and application configurations — leaving smaller horizontal multi-stage centrifugal models saddled with oversized, over-built frames. Our skids are sized to the application, reducing packaging footprint and installation cost.

Reduced Footprint

Lower Packaging Costs

Application Matched Sizing

— Load Support

Load Capacity Pedestal

The load-bearing pedestal is a purpose-built addition not found in traditional NTC HPS models. Improved support for the intake valve under load reduces the risk of misalignment and component damage from excessive force.

Increased Load Capacity

Reduced Damages & Maintenance

— High Serviceability

Split Non-Sparking Guard

Traditional bellhousing components have been replaced with a split guard design, improving access to the seal and intake. This allows for faster seal removal and installation — both in the field and in the shop — directly reducing maintenance time and costs.
